Second Arab Forum for Environmental Protection in the Arab Civil Aviation Industry
In order to promote a sustainable and environmentally friendly air transport system in the Arab region. The Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO), with the support of the Ministry of Transport and Logistic (Directorate General of Civil Aviation), organize the Second Arab Forum for Environmental Protection in the Arab Civil Aviation Industry, from 26 to 27 February 2024 in Marrakech - Morocco.
This Forum has the objective to develop an environmental protection plan to address the impact of the activities of the Arab civil aviation industry on the environment such as noises, climate change and the quality of local air to achieve sustainable civil aviation in the Arab region.
Also, it will offer an opportunity for sharing information experience and views on the following themes:
- Aspirational goal of net-zero CO2 emissions of international aviation.
- CORSIA implementation and SAP,
- Sustainable aviation Fuels and lower carbon aviation fuels,
- Technologies, noise and local air quality, and international cooperation and capacity building.
The Second Arab Forum will bring together government representatives, aviation managers and executives, airport managers form States, as well as international organizations and industry with direct involvement in aviation cleaner energy. who will have the opportunities to discuss how to promote a sustainable and environmentally civil aviation.

Session II: Global Market Based Measures & State Action Plan
