Twenty-one years in AACO, Manal has always been keen on bringing added value to AACO member airlines in the Aeropolitical domain.

Coordinating the work of AACO’s Aeropolitical Watch Group, Manal works hand in hand with member airlines to formulate advocacy campaigns to try to safeguard a healthy regulatory environment for the airlines. Manal works in accordance with AACO’s mission to serve the Arab airlines, represent their common interests, and facilitate their cooperation. Communication with ICAO, ACAO, IATA, other associations and organizations, government entities, and civil aviation authorities is part and parcel of AACO’s work in the aeropolitical field.

Manal now coordinates the work of AACO’s SAF taskforce that was established in July 2021. The taskforce is navigating through the vast landscape of this important environmental pillar starting with gaining knowledge and spreading awareness on all issues pertaining to SAF, while monitoring the regulatory environment governing SAF, and taking action where and when needed.
